Chocolates & Christmas Card DeliveryChristmas Cards and Chocolate delivery to local Seniors Rotarians delivered over 275 Christmas cards and chocolates to seniors in the Slave Lake region. This three way partnership (Rotary Club, EG Wahstrom School and CJ Schurter School) started this project during Covid in 2021 when so many seniors were confined to their homes. The deliveries were enjoyed by the seniors so much, the Rotary Club of Slave Lake continues to deliver Christmas cheer! Partners include students and staff from CJ Schurter School and EW Wahlstrom School. Students from various grades draw pictures and make colourful Christmas cards for our local seniors. Rotarians then hand deliver the cards along with chocolates to seniors in the community. |
