Congratulations to Kennedy Hartman and Saige Burnett, the Rotary Club of Slave Lake scholarship recipients.
Each year, local high school students from Slave Lake who are planning on attending post-secondary school are encouraged to apply for the Rotary Club of Slave Lake $1,000 scholarships.
The application process includes completion of the application form, a brief essay, recommendations from a teacher or school councillor, and transcripts. The applications are then reviewed by the Rotary Club selection committee and two applicants are selected.
The high school students receiving the Rotary Club’s scholarships for 2022 are Saige Burnett and Kennedy Hartman.
Saige Burnett is taking a Bachelor of Science at U of A.
