Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library

The Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library is a stunning facility which is used extensively by the community.  The Rotary Club fundraised $400,000 toward the construction of the library and had the facility named after the Rotary Club.

The library opened in 2010 and the following year, May, 2011 the facility was destroyed in the devastating wild fire disaster that swept through Slave Lake.  The new library was reconstructed along with the municipal and provincial offices and opened approximately  2 years later.

The library hosts a number of reading programs for children and youth.
